Dr. Zachary Reiff was first introduced to the idea of being a dentist when his brother Mark, a family and sleep medicine doctor, suggested he look into the field when he began college. He decided to shadow at a local dental office and was hooked! His passion for dentistry was ignited and he has desired to learn and grow within the field ever since. His favorite aspect of dentistry is being able to alleviate pain for patients and help them find comfort again.
Dr. Reiff grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago in the town of Buffalo Grove. He attended Loyola University for his undergraduate degree followed by Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, American Dental Association, and dental fraternities, Alpha Omega and Delta Sigma Delta. He hopes to become involved with Young Emerging Professionals in Williamsburg as well as volunteer with providing dental care for underprivileged children.
He is married to Rebecca, an occupational therapist. They have a large Maine Coon cat named Mr. Peach. Dr. Reiff describes himself as an “easy-going and kind individual.” In his free time, he enjoys thrifting and restoring garage sale finds with Rebecca. Dr. Reiff also enjoys jewelry making and hopes to one day have an extensive workshop for creating custom designs.
Dr. Reiff is a triplet! He is also exceptionally good at break dancing but says it’s been a while since he’s “busted a move.”
