Dr. Sheila Agullana grew up in the Philippines and first became interested in the dental world as a child noticing the dental condition of the elderly people in her community. She realized that a dentist is an essential part of her community and she understood the impact a beautiful smile can have. Dr. Agullana attended the University of the East Philippines for her undergrad and earned a DMD degree from the same school, then attended the University of Colorado School of Dentistry to earn a DDS. She completed 4 residencies in Colorado as well. Dr. Agullana is a member of the ADA, VDA, NVDA, DC Dental Society, and DOCS. She is certified with Invisalign®, ClearCorrect™, and Planmeca E4D. Dr. Agullana volunteers in the children’s ministry at her church and is looking forward to working with Missions of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile. She also sponsors children in Haiti and the Philippines.
Dr. Agullana has a niece and nephew and describes herself as being detail oriented and artistic, trustworthy, easy to talk to, with a deep faith in God. Her hobbies include travelling, reading, baking, crafting, camping, biking, and hiking. A fun fact about Dr. Agullana is that she has travelled to 40 US states and 14 different countries including Philippines, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Jamaica, Canada, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Lichtenstein.
